HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Daniel Kahanaoi's fate is now in the hands of a jury. Deliberations began Tuesday in his murder trial. The jury had an off-day on Wednesday, they'll be back to work Thursday.
Kahanaoi allegedly shot and killed attorney Craig Kimsel, in Kimsel's Kailua home. Kahanaoi testified that Kimsel had pulled out a gun, and that he shot him in self-defense after a struggle.
Kahanaoi faces a life sentence if convicted.
