Police searching for man who rammed car and fired shots at driver

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Police are looking for a man who they say rammed a car and then fired shots at its occupants last Thursday in Salt Lake. The incident began in the parking lot of the in front of Blockbuster store in the Salt Lake Shopping Center.

Police say the suspect challenged the victim to a fight. After the victim drove away from the shopping center, the suspect followed the victim into a residential area and then pulled alongside the victim's car and shouted for him to pull over.

The victim continued driving and that's when investigators say the suspect rammed the victim's car several times. The suspect then fired several shots at the victim before fleeing the scene. Several rounds hit the victim's vehicle.  One round passed between the driver and passenger.

The suspect was driving a dark colored, four-door, Nissan Pathfinder. He is described as a being 18-20 years old, between 5'6 and 5'8" weighing between 140 and 160 pounds. He has a shaved head and multiple tattoos on his chest. He wears a gold rope chain around his neck.
