MILILANI (HawaiiNewsNow)- This week we travel to Central Oahu to look at a town home for rent that has few features that really make it feel your are living in a house.

That can be huge if you have a growing family or just need space to grow. There are very few times when you find a town home for rent that really does combine the best of condo and single family home living and today we found one in Mililani.

"Today we are Hampton Court in Mililani Mauka and its is a serene and cool place that sits a bit outside of Honolulu, but still close to town," says Lurline Johnson of Property Profiles.

The town house unit is a large two-bedroom two bath that is located on the second floor above your own enclosed garage. So you have one stall inside, one parking stall in your driveway and one guest spot parking as well.

At almost 900 square feet, you have real sense of space as you enter into the open kitchen and living room. The kitchen has been updated with plenty of storage space and newer appliances.  And that includes a full size front load washer and drier!

As you head down the hallway past a full bathroom we enter the first bedroom which has a custom paint design that will delight the keiki and make a perfect kids room or office. The bedroom has a full size closet and wide open windows to let the light in from outside. And speaking of closest it's pretty rare that we find a town home that really has a nice size master bedroom with a walk in closet. There is another large bathroom just off the master bedroom and all the rooms do have window A/C units.

But being in Mililani Mauka the home really take advantages of the cool trade winds.  All this is being offered $2,000 thousand dollars a month. Plus if you familiar with Mililani you know one of the awesome things of living here in this central Oahu neighbor hood is the community recreation centers. Included in your rent is the ability to use one of the seven community recreation centers in Mililani.

The summer months are a busy time in the rental market. New data shows that rental rates across Oahu have been holding steady and in some area's actually dipping.

The tough economy has forced many people to move home and with college out..there are more unit available now rent than ever before. But this window of opportunity won't last for long, so get out there and look at what is on the market.
