KANEOHE (HawaiiNewNow) - A shooting in Windward Oahu has neighbors on edge. No one was hurt, but nerves are still rattled. An Ahuimanu resident says at about 5:00 AM Friday someone fired three or four shots at her car and house on Ahuimanu Road in Kaneohe.

The car's owner, who didn't want to be on camera, says her anxiety has turned to frustration because police haven't given her any updates on the case. Senator Clayton Hee, who lives down the street, says HPD should provide more information.

"Let her know that they are investigating it. Let her know the status report. Let her know that they may not have any information. But reasonably, I believe that someone who's frightened, should be at least to the extent possible, put at ease" said Hee.

The victim says her family is not involved in any drug or criminal activity, so she has no reason to believe they were specifically targeted.
