WAILEA, Maui (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Maui Film Festival is in its 11th year. This year, Malika flew over to cover the event. Now that she's back, she has a sneak peek from last night's star-studded Taste of Chocolate party. What an event! Luxury and decadence, under the stars, with celebrities, music and of course, "le chocolat."

Barry Rivers, co-founder of the Maui Film Festival sums it up, "The draw here is chocolate, chocolate, chocolate."

Lavender chocolate, liquid nitrogen cooled chocolate mousse, white chocolate cheesecake, chocolate in a martini glass, chocolate in a cup, or how about a chocolate martini poured through the middle of a giant ice sculpture.

Whatever your fancy, you get it all at the Taste of Chocolate. The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea hosts this delicious, exclusive party every year.

Barry's wife Stella says "It's just such a glamorous place, especially on Maui, everyone is so low key, but people just love coming here."

"This is the peak of the Maui Film Festival. Everybody who is anybody, who wants to be seen is here right now," explains General Manager of the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

Including teen heart throb, Zac Efron who was honored Wednesday night with the "Shining Star" award. Malin Ackerman from the feature films Couple's Retreat and The Proposal. From CBS's hit show, How I Met Your Mother, Josh Radnor, and from A Cinderella Story and Cougar Town, actor Dan Byrd.

"What are you super excited about tonight" I asked a couple of guests. "To see Zac Efron," Lucia Simon replied. "And, what about the chocolate?" Her sister Sophia said "It's really, really good."

But the five day festival is far from over. If you haven't been to a film yet. There's a good reason to go tomorrow.

For Father's Day, they will be featuring a Maori father and son story, and...

"Father's day at the celestial cinema keiki 12 and under get in free," said Barry Rivers.
