HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The trial is set to begin on Thursday for an Oahu man, accused of gunning down a Honolulu attorney. 45-year-old Daniel Kahanaoi is charged with murder, burglary, a restraining order violation and firearms offense.
Investigators say, last April Kahanaoi went to Craig Kimsel's house, looking for his ex-girlfriend.
That's when he allegedly shot and killed the attorney, when he was asked to leave.
Earlier this year, Kahanaoi was arrested again for allegedly stabbing a corrections officer at OCC.
