King Kamehameha Day parade marches on

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An annual King Kamehameha Day tradition went on as scheduled Saturday, but with a different twist.

Marching bands delighted the crowd along Ala Moana Boulevard in the 94th year of the King Kamehameha Celebration Floral Parade.

Brightly decorated floats were also on display, showcasing the Hawaiian culture.

For many years, the parade route traveled into Waikiki, but this year, it ended in downtown Honolulu at Iolani Palace.
