Broadway musicals setting up stage at Blaisdell Concert Hall

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Broadway is coming to Hawaii. Announced Tuesday, two award-winning musicals will be held at Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall. Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cats" are on its' way to set stage later this year.

Beauty and the Beast will be on stage from September 21 to October 3. Cats will be held for just one week from December 28 to January 2, 2011. Incentives for both shows will have Honolulu buyers wanting to buy tickets now. Opening night for both shows are priced 30 to 40 percent below weekend performances. Also, both have two performances with 50 percent discount for kids.

Tickets for Beauty and the Beast and Cats go on sale Saturday, June 12. These tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, Blaisdell box office, WalMart outlets and Sports Gear at Windward Mall. For more information, call 800-745-3000.
