HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Wednesday marks four years GO has been flying. GO-Mokuele is marking the occasion by selling any seats that remain for travel Wednesday at $39. Hawaii is matching on the same number of seats. But both carriers say the tickets are available only Tuesday. Then it's back to the regular price, which for most people includes the return ticket.

Oahu home sales are firm, with stronger prices. Many saw 284 homes and 355 condos go to closing. In both cases sales volume was a third better than last year at the same time. Condo prices only rose a little from last year, but home prices were up 12 percent based on median prices.

How would you like it if a Chinese fast-food chain started drive-thrus? California-based Panda Express is planning for its 22 Hawaii location, King Street, just past Kaheka where the Union 76 used to be. The unit could be open before Christmas.

Volcanoes National Park has extended the bidding period for the food service contract at Volcano House. The owner of the Naniloa Resort declined to bid after the park wanted a lot more of the revenue, and the Times-Heraldo of Hilo reported no one else bid either. Park service policy forbids saying who bid.

The state agriculture department is taking bids for leases on seven plots of ag land at Pahoa Agriculture park, not far from Hilo. The parcels range from five acres to 29. Call the agriculture resource management division for information.

North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea/Kamuela has begun using a company called team-health to provide hospitalists, doctors who specialize in hospital care. The same company has been serving Hilo Medical Center for four years.
