HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Six Russian astronauts are preparing for 520 days in a windowless module to simulate a trip to mars. The international team of astronauts won't leave the ground. They'll be locked together in a mock spacecraft for a year and a half. The mission is designed to test the effects of being isolated for such a long period of time.

Try hoisting this Stanley Cup! It's actually a 40-inch cake that a Philadelphia bakery made, hoping to give their hometown Flyers a little luck in the series with the Blackhawks. The cake was assembled using over a thousand "tastykakes" including dark chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter and coffee cake. It took three people about three hours to construct. The Flyers trail in the Stanley Cup two game to one.

Actor Patrick Stewart is now Sir Patrick Stewart. The actor was knighted by Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace in honor of his contributions to the arts. Stewart has starred in films, theater and television over the past five decades. After the ceremony, Stewart said he was humbled to now be in the company of acting legends like Sir Laurence Olivier and Sir Alec Guinness.
