Hawaii State Libraries to stay open through June and July

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - School is out, and Hawaii State Libraries will be staying open throughout the summer. The library system announced it will not have any furlough days for the months of June and July.

Starting in December, workers began taking 30 furlough days, over the next two fiscal years, to save some cash.

The unpaid days off will begin again, in August.
