MESA, AZ (HawaiiNewsNow) - The UH baseball team hammered out 17 hits while routing Fresno State 11 to 3 Friday night.

The victory moved Hawaii to within one win of the WAC title and an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament.

Kevin McDonald drove in four runs for the Rainbows.

Kolten Wong and David Freitas both hit home runs.

Sophomore starter Matt Sisto gave up just two runs while scattering seven hits over seven innings.

Hawaii will play either Fresno State or San Jose State at 4:30 p.m. (HST). If Hawaii wins, it will be WAC champs. If the Bows lose Saturday, they'll play the same opponent Sunday for all the marbles.
