HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A man accused of preying upon teenaged girls in Mililani is scheduled to be sentenced July 26th on multiple sex assault, kidnapping and threatening charges. Nicholas Anduha, 21, is expected to receive a 10-year prison term.

The defendant was set to go to trial later this month. He, instead, pleaded guilty to eight counts of sexual assault, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of terroristic threatening Friday.

Police say Anduha grabbed a 15-year-old girl at knifepoint, but fled after her boyfriend intervened. Later that same day, investigators say he forced another 15-year-old girl into his van, drove around with her for several hours and sexually assaulted her.

Under a plea deal with prosecutors, some of the charges against Anduha were reduced.
