HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A Leeward Oahu children's home needs help caring for keiki in need. "Hoomalu O Na Kamalii" gives children a safe place to stay while their families are investigated for child abuse or neglect. But it desperately needs clothes, toys, school supplies and more. You can drop off donations at any Hawaii Self Storage location.

This is not how you normally see a plane in transit. "American Airlines" donated this MD-80 140 passenger plane to an aviation school, but getting it there was a challenge. Crews had to move poles, signs and finally call in a crane to lift the plane over some obstacles. The carrier donated the $6 million plane, making it one of the few aviation schools in the country with a commercial plane to train on.

And Colorado Rockies center-fielder Dexter Fowler went deep for baseball over the weekend and couldn't make the catch. That's because he lost his glove while leaping for a catch at the wall. The ball ends up going for a trip, but the good thing is Dexter just hopped over the wall, got his glove and kept on playing.
