HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - University of Hawaii Rainbow baseball shortstop Greg Garcia was named the Verizon Wireless Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week Monday, for the week of May 10-16.
Garcia hit a league-best .636 (7-for-11) last week, helping the Rainbows to a 3-1 record against New Mexico State. The junior recorded five RBI, four walks, two runs and a double over the four games.
