HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Kani Ka Pila Grille in the Outrigger Reef hotel hosts some of Hawaiʻi's most talented musicians. And they are looking for up and coming Hawaiian musicians to add to the line-up. Amy Kalili has more on how they're seeking them out.
We knew that there would be more musicians out there that have wonderful Hawaiian music to share with everybody else.
Host, Kani Ka Pila Grille

The Grille is hosting a talent search for upcoming musicians.
This would be an opportunity for any up-and-coming entertainer or musician to come out and compete and hopefully to win a one-month gig here at the Kani Ka Pila Restaurant.

Kûpaoa won the contest last year. Soon after, they also won multiple Hôkû's.
Everybody was happy to hear of their Nâ Hôkû winnings, but they also had a place where to could send people to come and listen to their music.

The winner would perform Thursday nights throughout the month of July.
We want it to be Hawaiian music, whether it's traditional or contemporary. In fact, it'd be best if they had both, so that the people who come to listen to music, we can take care of all of them.
