Big Island police looking for ATM theft suspect

HILO, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say used a stolen ATM card. Last month, a 27-year-old Hilo woman reported that cash was withdrawn from her account in an unauthorized transaction. Police recovered surveillance video showing a man making withdrawals using her card.

Police ask that anyone with information about the identity of the suspect call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in East Hawaii or 329-8181 in West Hawaii.
