HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - UPDATE: Police arrested William Pratt Thursday May 13 on California Avenue in Wahiawa.

His rap sheet includes more than 20 convictions. William Pratt is the subject of this week's Wanted Wednesday case file.

March 8, 1998. A woman heard her vehicle start up while it was parked at her home on Pohina Street. When she ran outside, she saw a man reversing out of her driveway.

"She tried to detain him and the vehicle struck her. She fell down. The male fled in the vehicle" said Sgt. Kim Buffett of Crimestoppers.

Later that morning, officers were sent to Wilikina Drive on a report of a man spray painting a Mazda. Checks showed that the car was the same one that had been reported stolen from Pohina Street.

"The male was identified as William Pratt and arrested for UCPV."

Then on December 9, 1998 a Mililani man woke up after hearing loud noises outside his home on Hokuahiahi Street.

"He saw a male running to a white pickup truck carrying an item. When he checked he found that his tool box was missing and some tools. The police were called and located the truck in the area" said Buffett.

Officers arrested William Pratt for auto theft and first- degree burglary.

"He has 22 prior convictions, and they're for burglaries, auto thefts, assaults, assault on a police officer, theft, a lot of probation revocation, and he's known to frequent the Waipahu and Wahiawa area."
