NEW YORK (HawaiiNewsNow) - Former Kamehameha soccer stand-out Brian Ching is one step closer to making the U.S. world cup roster.
Tuesday U.S. coach Bob Bradley released the names of the 30 players he has invited to training camp, and Ching is on the list.
The Haleiwa native is one of six forwards to make the first cut. The roster will be trimmed to 23 players before the Americans leave for South Africa May 30th.
