Waianae advances to face top seeded Mililani in state softball

MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Waianae High School softball team scored five runs in the third inning on its way to a 7-2 victory over Kealakehe on the opening day of the 2010 Datahouse Division One State Softball Championship Monday.

Tuesday Waianae plays the tournament's top seed, the Trojans of Mililani High.  The game is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. At the Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.

Division One

Castle beat Lahainaluna 6-0

Punahou defeated Kapolei 4-0

Campbell eliminated Roosevelt 12-0

 

Division Two

Kauai beat Molokai 11-1

Kalaheo upended KS-Hawaii 9-1

Pac-Five dumped Aiea 5-2

Waialua outscored Kohala 7-6
