Protestors plead not guilty to trespassing at governor's office

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Protestors who waged a sit-in in the governor's office appeared in court Monday, and say they are not guilty of trespassing. Twelve people stood before the court, all being defended by attorney Eric Seitz.  He entered the pleas for them, and asked for a trial date in August.

A total of 20 people were cited, four arrested, for the week-long sit in at the governor's office in protest of furlough Fridays. Four were charged with criminal trespassing, which could mean up to 30 days in prison if convicted.
