Children's medicine recalled

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - More than 40 popular children's medications are being taken off the shelves because they don't meet quality standards.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare is telling people to stop giving their kids products like Children's Tylenol, Tylenol Plus, Motrin, Zyrtec and Benadryl.

Some concentrations of the active ingredients were higher than listed on the bottle, and some had inactive ingredients that do not meet requirements..

The company says they have not received any reports of problems and are doing the recall as a precaution.
