OAKLAND, California (HawaiiNewsNow) –
Oakland A's catcher Kurt Suzuki hit a three run home run in the first inning against the New York Yankees Thursday. Then in the sixth inning he grounded into a triple play. It's the first triple play the Yankees have turned in 42 years.
Thanks in great part to Suzuki's three-run blast, the A's beat the Yanks 4-2.
Suzuki is hitting .323 with 3 home runs and 9 RBI through 17 games this year.
