HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An Oahu school damaged by a fire is getting ready to rebuild. Flames destroyed several classrooms and offices at the Central Union Church Preschool in 2008.
The new 14-million dollar construction project will be done in phases over the next six years. Most of the money from an upcoming fundraiser will be used to help pay for the buildings.
"We want to make this the most positive environment that we can physically because we know emotionally and developmentally it's a great place" said Executive Director Marie Hook.
