MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) -
The NCAA has granted University of Hawai'i offensive lineman Laupepa Letuli a sixth year of eligibility.
Letuli initially redshirted during his true freshman year in 2005 and suffered a season-ending knee injury last season.
"It's good to be with my teammates and (I've) got another year coming, so I'll just put in my all this semester," Letuli told Hawaii News Now.
"He was very excited and I kind of was doing some back flips in my apartment. It was a good," said U.H. Offensive Line Coach Gordy Shawn.
The Warriors are in the middle of spring camp, which concludes Friday, April 30 with the annual Warrior Bowl at the Clarence T.C. Ching Field.
