HILO, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) – Police on the Big Island are seeking the public's help in locating two men and one woman who are suspects in an identity theft case. The trio and their vehicle were captured on surveillance cameras. Police say that they used a stolen credit-card to purchase items in both Waimea and Hilo.
The woman is of medium build, between 5'0" and 5'6" with brown shoulder-length hair and a tattoo on her left inner ankle.
The first man has a heavy build, darker skin, short black or brown hair in a buzz cut with a tattoo on the neck. The second man has a muscular build, lighter skin, short light brown hair in a buzz cut with tattoos on the upper body.
Police identified the woman as the driver of the vehicle, a late-to-mid-1990s black Dodge Durango with chrome rims.
Anyone with information as to the identity or whereabouts of these suspects call Officer Rick Nery at 887-3082 or the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
