MAKAKILO (HawaiiNewsNow) - From missing to murdered. Police have arrested two men in connection with the case involving a 24-year-old Mililani man and sources say drugs were involved..
Jamil Khan was last seen less than two weeks ago leaving his family's home in Mililani. This past Wednesday, police found his vehicle abandoned and burned in Waipahu.
On Sunday night, his family's worst nightmare became a reality.
Quiet and nice. Those are the two most common words, neighbors used to describe an area of Makakilo.
Off-camera, they tell us the murder suspect who lived in this house, 25-year-old Joshua Williams seemed like a normal guy who would wave to them when he drove past their homes.
But yesterday, the neighborhood was anything but normal. For much of the day, police shutdown this area, which led to the eventual arrest of Williams, for second-degree murder, promoting marijuana and committing arson.
They also arrested 24-year-old Michael Connolly of Mililani for second-degree murder.
Sources say the two suspects and victim are all part of the same marijuana operation and there was some sort of fallout between the three. Police say they have yet to find Khan's body.
At this hour, police still haven't charged both Williams and Connolly.
