MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) -
The UH men's volleyball team is focused on ending their season on a high note. The Rainbows have already made it to the post-season for the first time in two years, and a sweep this weekend would mean home court advantage.
The 5th-ranked Warriors are headed to UC Santa Barbara for a two match series with the Gauchos to wrap up the regular season.
Hawaii can clinch home court advantage for the first round of the post-season tournament if they complete the sweep. UH has won six of its last seven matches and they are on a roll.
Coach Charlie Wade says home court is crucial, "You don't have to travel, you get the huge support of your fans. It would be huge, that is our focus right now."
The matches against UC Santa Barbara take place Friday and Saturday. Both games start at 4 o'clock Hawaii time.
