HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Maui realtors report 70 home sales in march, up 25 percent, and 122 condo sales, up 82 percent, compared to the same month in 2009. More than half the homes sold for less than half a million, but the median price decline was less than 10 percent. The condo median was a little higher and actually rose from last year.

The Reuters News Service reports Continental Airlines is thinking of making a bid to acquire United Airlines. United is much bigger, but Continental is in better financial shape. This comes as other media report United is trying to nail down a deal to acquire US Airways.
