Bone marrow donor drive at state capitol today

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Bone Marrow Donor Registry is holding a drive today. They're looking to help patients like eight-year-old Mitchell Ganeku, who suffers from aplastic anemia.

His family still hasn't found a match.

It takes just a few minutes to register and collect a cheek swab.

The drive will be held today from noon to 4 p.m. at the state capitol in conference room 437.
