AUGUSTA (HawaiiNewsNow) -
Monday, for the first time in five months, Tiger Woods answered questions at a press conference. Woods spoke to a room filled with an estimated 200 reporters at Augusta National where the Masters will be played this week.
Woods took the opportunity to apologize to his fans. He also said from now on you will see a different Tiger Woods.
"I've made a conscious decision to try and tone down my negative outbursts and, you know, I'm sure my positive outbursts will be calmed down as well. And that's just trying to be more respectful of the game," Woods said.
Woods played a practice round at Augusta in preparation for the tournament.
He told reporters his wife Elin will not attend the Masters and that he is playing to win.
