Puppy stolen from Sand Island pet store

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 12-week-old Tibetan spaniel puppy was stolen Wednesday afternoon from the Pet's Central on Alahao Place. The store manager says that around 1:30 PM two women and one man entered the store. While one of the people in the group distracted a store employee, another grabbed the puppy from its cage and ran out of the store.

The suspected dognappers were all in their 20's or 30's. Witnesses say that the thieves were driving a white Honda two-door.

According to the store manager, the puppy has a microchip and that all Oahu veterinary clinics have been notified about the theft. The store says that no questions will be asked if the puppy is safely returned.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Honolulu police.
