Rainbows shut out at Fullerton

FULLERTON, CALIF. (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The University of Hawaii baseball team saw its five game winning streak end with a 3-0 loss at Cal State Fullerton Friday.

CSUF's Noe Ramirez (4-1) pitched a gem, striking out 14 in a complete-game shutout.

David Freitas led UH, going 2-for-4. Sean Montplaisir added a double while Kevin Macdonald and Kolten Wong had the two other Hawai'i hits during the game. Alex Capaul pitched great in relief, allowing no runs on just two hits in 2.2 innings.
