State releases documents regarding rail

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - There is a rift between the State of Hawaii and City and County of Honolulu over the rail transit project and how close the route is to runways at the Honolulu International Airport. The state is concerned the train will be within 1,000 feet of the runway.

Now both sides disagree on when these concerns were expressed. The State Department of Transportation is publishing all its correspondence with the city dating back to August 2006.
