MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) - UH athletics director Jim Donovan and his advisory committee spent Wednesday talking to candidates to become the next men's basketball coach at Manoa.
According to published reports, Gonzaga assistant Ray Giacoletti is among those interviewed today.
Giacoletti spent four years as head coach at Eastern Washington and three years guiding Utah.
Southern Miss associate coach Steve Barnes, who spent three years as head coach at San Jose State, also reportedly met with Donovan and the committee Wednesday.
According to the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Colorado associate coach Steve McClain was also interviewed. Three other candidates have also had interviews.
They are former USC assistant Gib Arnold, Saint Mary's assistant Kyle Smith and Chaminade coach Matt Mahar.
