PEARL CITY (HawaiiNewsNow) - Here's a fun way to spend spring break. The Children's Theatre of Oahu is putting on the musical "Hercules" this week.
This year's musical performance begins with the return of the hero Hercules to his home on Mt. Olympus, where he is joined by a familiar cast of gods and goddess including Zeus, Aphrodite, Narcissus, Cupid and many more. When the evil Medusa threatens to take over Olympus, Hercules and Perseus must work together to defeat her. The story weaves together loose translations of Greek Mythology through song and dance, and will leave you laughing and singing along.
We have 90 Keiki from all over the island participating in our show this year. Rehearsals begin in January in preparation for our March performances at Pearl City Cultural Center. Our show dates are March 18th and 19th at 9:30am and 12:00pm, and Saturday March 20th at 3:00pm and 7:00pm. To get tickets please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 392-6858.
Tickets are $7.00 each.
