MANOA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii basketball coach Bob Nash was fired Monday two days after the Rainbow Warriors finished their season with a 10-20 record.
Former UH coach Riley Wallace, who Nash worked for as an assistant, shared some thoughts with Hawaii News Now about Nash being let go. Nash called Wallace his mentor, and Wallace still has just as high a regard for Nash.
Wallace also had some pointed comments directed at former UH Athletic Director Herman Frasier. Hawaii News Now's Brooks Baehr spoke to him on the phone from his home in Las Vegas.
