HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An epic battle tonight between Kamehameha-Kapalama and Moanalua in the Boys State Tournament night.

It's double overtime when Charlton Tang's putback gives the Warriors the lead by 1.

Then just seconds later, it's Tang again all alone under the basket to put Kamehameha up three.

One last chance now for the Menehune. Marcus Keene for the tie. But it's no good! The defending state champs survive.

Final score, Kamehameha 53, Moanalua 50. The top seed in Division 1, Iolani, eliminated Mililani from the tourney 72-53.

Hilo is the three seed in Division 1. Alika Smith's Punahou squad is not seeded.

First half action, Buffanblu's Henry Cassiday whips a pass to Sean McFadden for two. Then McFadden steals the inbounds pass for two more!

That makes it 30 to 15 Punahou. Hilo wouldn't get any closer as Punahou goes on to win with ease 76 to 46.

Also in Division 1, Kahuku escaped with a three point victory over Lahainaluna.

In Division 2 action, Pahoa trying to knock off the top seed Roosevelt.

Pahoa's Isaiah Ekau wears Michael Jordan's number 23 and he played like Mike tonight with 31 points.

Then it's Nick Fisher taking it to the bucket and check out the scoop shot. He's pumped and he should be.

Pahoa goes on to upset number one seeded Roosevelt 56 to 48. In other games, 3rd seeded St. Joseph was upset by Kailua 54-46.

Kapaa rallied late to knock-off University High 35-32. And in overtime, the Academy of the Pacific beat Seabury Hall 60 to 57.
