Ching biography helps schools raise funds

(HawaiiNewsNow) - Clarence Ching has left a legacy here in the islands. There are donations made to Catholic Charities, St. Louis Schools and the University of Hawaii athletics department. The latest book about him is no different. Ching's nephew Ray Tam joins us this morning, along with the president of St. Louis School Walter Kirimitsu.

The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation has generously offered 15,000 copies of "A Prophecy Fulfilled" to raise money for all Hawaii high schools, including Saint Louis School and Chaminade University. The softcover book will be available at school bookstores for $10, with 100% of the proceeds going toward the selling school. It will also be available in local bookstores starting this weekend for $14.95, part of which will go back to the school.
