Kamehameha Schools Ho'olaulea, Labelle comments on Idol judges

Kamehameha Schools Ho'olaulea is happening this Saturday on the grounds of the Kamehameha Schools up on Kunia Circle.  There will be lots of food booths with "grindz" from Oahu and the neighbor islands. There will be entertainment, silent auction, health and education booths for the keiki and more! Admission is free. I'll be emceeing in the afternoon,

Patti Labelle thinks some people shouldn't be on "American Idol", and she's not talking about the contestants. "Some of the judges, I don't think they're qualified to even judge," she said in an interview Wednesday. Labelle wouldn't say which judge she thought was lacking, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi or Ellen Degeneres. Labelle, who claims she was asked to be a judge on the series before Paula Abdul, also feels like the judges' comments to the contestants are too mean.

Apple has broken the 10 billion song barrier. Apple's song download counter hit the mark Wednesday afternoon.  Just last month, Apple's app store surpassed three billion downloads.

Matt Damon will join in the remake of "True Grit", which will star Jeff Bridges in John Wayne's Rooster Cogburn role.
