Police seeking man who robbed Kakaako bank Tuesday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for robbing the First Hawaiian Bank branch on Ward Avenue Tuesday morning. Investigators say that the man entered the bank around 9:50 AM, approached a teller and demanded cash. No weapon was seen by witnesses. The suspect fled mauka on Ward Avenue.

This bank branch was also robbed four days earlier, on Thursday February 11, also by a masked suspect.

The man is described as 6'2" weighing 175 lbs. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue denim long pants, white sneakers, a black facemask and tan baseball cap.
