HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The 8.2 mile course of the Great Aloha Run stretched from Aloha Tower to Aloha Stadium but ended with extra aloha for the overall winner.
Sergio Reyes from Palmdale, California was the first to finish in a time of 41-minutes and 14 seconds.
But he made extra headlines by proposing to his girlfriend Aimee Scott.
She said yes.
On the female side of things, former UH runner Chantelle Wilder won the women's race in 47-minutes 57-seconds.
