HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new man has been found to head high school sports in Hawaii. His name is Christopher Chun.
The executive board of the Hawaii High School Athletic Association made the announcement about an hour ago.
Chun is an attorney who's been working in the private sector for several years.
He's a 1992 graduate of Iolani School, got his degree at UH, a masters at Chaminade and then went back to UH for his law degree.
Chun will take over for outgoing HHSAA executive director Keith Amemiya early next month.
Amemiya did a good job keeping the games going during tough economic times.
His next job will be executive administrator for the UH Board of Regents.
