Lieutenant Governor Aiona proposes Sports Commission

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - As the NFL gets set to play the Pro Bowl away from Honolulu for the first time in 3 decades, Lieutenant Governor "Duke" Aiona is proposing a sports commission to help keep events like that in Hawaii.

Aiona wants to establish a 13-member panel in charge of attracting, promoting and developing events that would generate revenue for the state. And while the lieutenant governor said the Pro Bowl is the biggest example of what should be in Hawaii, many other events should be considered. He joined Sunrise to explain.
