HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - An Oahu grand jury on Wednesday determined there's enough evidence to send two young men to trial for allegedly beating an elderly woman and her caregiver.

Zachary Robinson, 19, and Cody Mikami, 21, were indicted on attempted murder and robbery charges. They're accused of beating Mary Lee Koskinen, 85, and her live-in caregiver, Matthew Edmondson, 40, in their Waialae Nui home last Thursday.

Police say they found a brick and a tire iron that appeared to be covered with blood, as well as illegal drugs, inside the house.

Prosecutors say Mikami's bail was reduced to $500,000 because he has no prior convictions. Robinson is still being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
