HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The UH men's basketball team played an inspired game against New Mexico State Thursday night. Leading the way for the 'Bows was Roderick Flemings.

Bob Nash only had nine guys in uniform tonight. He needed someone to excel and Flemings was that someone. He scored a game-high 23 points.

But the 'Bows were down by three with under 15 seconds to play when Hiram Thompson drained a long three to tie the game.

But the Aggies Jahmar Young nails a jumper with under a second to play.

New Mexico State is victorious. Hawaii falls under .500 at 9-10 overall and 2-4 in the WAC.

The Aggies move up to first place. Next up for Hawaii is Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
