HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - He was convicted of terrorizing a woman in Salt Lake. But now Jeff Pamintuan is on the run.
December 8, 2001. A 21-year-old woman was folding clothes in the laundry room of a Salt Lake apartment building when Jeff Pamintuan approached her.
"An argument ensued and escalated to Paminutan punching her in the face and slamming her arm in the dryer door several times. He then pulled out a knife and then threatened to stab her," said Kim Buffett of CrimeStoppers.
The woman's younger brother witnessed the attack and called police. Officers busted Pamintuan.
"Upon arrival, he was arrested for terroristic threatening in the first degree," said Buffett.
Pamintuan failed to follow the terms and conditions of his hope probation. Last November a $20,000 cash only bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
He is 5'10" and weighs 178 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and is known to hang out in the Honolulu area.
"He has six prior convictions. Two for terroristic threatening, one for abuse, CPD, and again probation revocation," said Buffett.
The 29-year-old also has three other cases pending against him. helping police find him could put up to $1000 in your wallet. Jeff Pamintuan is this week's Wanted Wednesday fugitive.
