STOCKTON, CA (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Warrior volleyball team made it a two-for-one evening Tuesday night, picking up their first road and MPSF win, when they visited Pacific in Stockton, California.

The Warriors led for the early part of Set 1 and even held a five-point advantage at 11-6. The Tigers came roaring back with five quick points, fueled by a pair of UH hitting errors, to tie the score at 11, before watching Pacific take the set 30-27.

UH then rallied to win the next three sets behind 21 kills and nine digs from freshman phenom Jonas Umlauft.

The difference in the match was at the service line, where UOP committed 26 errors with only five aces, compared to 13 errors and three aces for Hawaii.

The Warriors and Tigers play again on Wednesday. First serve is 8:00 p.m. PT (6:00 p.m. HT) at the Alex G. Spanos Center.
