HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Chevron, the second-biggest US oil company, says it plans to shrink its refining business and that move will mean job cuts throughout the company.

The company runs five refineries in the US, including one on Oahu.

Company officials tell Hawaii News Now that at least 300 employees are employed at the facility in Campbell Industrial Park. Chevron says they are still reviewing options of what will be done with its Hawaii refinery and that will determine how many employees, if any, will be let go.
