MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (HawaiiNewsNow) - As we told you the other day, there's no certainly better place to watch a Vikings game than in the official Viking Village.
Usually, the "Village" is reserved for true Norsemen, but as a special treat, all Hawaii News Now viewers are invited inside for this showdown with the Dallas Cowboys.
Our magical tour starts as we arrive at the train station, then it's off to the diner, or maybe the restaurant for a quick bite to eat.
Then we hurry off to the stadium where the big game's being played.
Tony Romo grew up in Wisconsin, idolizing Brett Favre, but Romo won't like this.
It's Favre going 47 yards to Sidney Rice for the touchdown. Vikings up 7-0. The Cowboys are confused. The Vikings faithful in the village, they're going nuts!
Second quarter now and Favre ducks under the pressure and finds Rice who darts in for his second TD.
Romo, meanwhile, was getting hammered by the Minnesota "D." Jared Allen forces a Romo fumble. It was one of six sacks for the Vikes.
In the fourth quarter, Favre hits Rice again for a 45-yard scoring strike.
Dallas is knocked out of the playoffs.
Minnesota wins 34-3 and advances to the NFC title game against the New Orleans Saints.
